Shake it!

Madison has recently become very talented at shaking her rattles. She even reaches for it when you hold it out in front of her anymore. She gets a little over excited sometimes when she's shaking it and does bonk herself on the forehead frequently. She even gave herself a nice little red spot on her head the other day. Here's a little example of her making her rattle music. I think we have a musician on our hands!

Grandparent Time

Last week Madison got to spend some more time with Grandma and Grandpa Schnackenberg during the days while Chris was taking his finals. She greatly entertained them with her new skill of rolling over and lots of babbling and smiles. She had a great time with her Grandparents and I know they enjoyed spending time with her as well.

Happy Anniversary!

Today is our 2nd wedding anniversary! I can't believe that it's been two years since I walked down the aisle. A lot has happened in our lives since then. We've lived in two different places, I've had two different jobs, and the biggest change is our little Madison! I wouldn't trade any part of the past two years. I'm looking forward to many more happy memories to be made!

We Caught It!!

When I got home from work today I decided to try and see if Madison would roll over where I could see it this time. I put her on her belly and it didn't take long and she plopped right over. Then later this evening I thought I would TRY to catch the roll on video and sure enough...she plopped over again and I caught it!! So, here is a little video of Madison and her roll.

There She Rolls!!

Madison rolled over this morning for the first time. Of course Mommy missed it! I was in the bathroom doing my hair and getting ready for work when Chris came in and said "come in here, Madison just rolled over!" I went in the living room and sure enough she was laying there on her back. She rolled from her tummy to her back and apparently had the most shocked look on her face when it happened. Hopefully I will be able to witness this soon and get some video.

Cruising With Grandpa Davis

Grandpa Davis spent last week babysitting Madison during the day while Chris was at school and I was at work. Grandma Schnackenberg spent the week before with Madison and will be back this next week as well until Chris gets done with his finals. I think both grandparents really enjoyed their time with Madison. They both realized how fast she is growing and changing. Madison enjoyed riding around with Grandpa Davis in his wheelchair and I think we may have an early driver on our hands. She seemed to love to "drive" the chair as well. Here is a little clip of her driving Grandpa around the living room. I think we should watch out for her when she starts driving...she gets a little "wild" sometimes.

3 Months Old!!

Madison is 3 months old today! Time is sure flying by! I can't believe that she is getting so big. We are going to get her 3 month pictures taken today at WalMart so hopefully they will turn out. It just depends on what kind of mood she decides to be in when the camera is shooting. Hopefully she will be all smiles.
Madison is really in the middle of the cooing right now. She will just lay there and talk your socks off anymore. Once in a while she gets a big laugh in there as well. She loves to lay on her play mat and look at herself in the mirror and talk to herself. It's quite hilarious! We have also found that she loves to look at the fish in our fish tank. She will just sit there and stare at them for the longest time. Once in a while she also has to strike up a conversation with them as well. She is very good at holding her head up and is very nosy about what is going on around her. She always has to be looking around. She keeps herself (and everyone behind us) entertained very well in church. She just looks over my shoulder and smiles and talks to everyone around.
Happy 3 months Madison!! We can't wait to see what you have in store for us next!!
